HarmonyOS: Mate 40 MIUI 11 launch soon

Although the situation is far from easy, Huawei is working on the EMUI 11 based on Android 11 that will make its appearance on the new smartphones of the Mate 40 family.

We know that in parallel there are several projects, first of all Harmonyos. Today we know that the development of the operating system of the green robot will not end, at least for now.

September 10 will be the day of HDC 2020, or the conference made in Huawei which will also talk about various future projects. There will certainly be space to analyze the situation but there will also be the presentation of the AOSP of Android 11 customized by the user interface EMUI 11. New details will also be disclosed on the Harmonyos 2.0 platform. Before that, however, here is that a spoiler leaker was already the main features that will be introduced with the EMUI 11, are these:

1. Improved GPU Turbo mode thanks to an optimization of the system, the performance threshold has increased even more by activating this mode;
2. Use an improved hand with new gestures and shortcuts to be able to perform even more operations;
3. Leaner UI navigation with a more precise and effective control of the gestures imparted;
4. Faster and more precise file sharing like images, documents, videos, etc selectable with buttons placed in key points;
5. Increased security;
6. Smart airplane mode, that is, if the bluetooth is active and you set the airplane mode, the bluetooth will not be disconnected.

We said that it is very likely that the new Mate 40 will launch both Android 11 and EMUI 11, obviously with all the limitations arising from Google. This choice moves away at least for now the spectre of Harmonyos.

Huawei has already established that the transition will take place but must be ready to meet the challenge. At the moment Android is still crucial, especially for an App talk.
