The year 2016 saw Zotac release his VR GO, a rather sexy VR backpack. In 2018, the firm launched the VR GO 2.0, of which you can read a test here. In 2020, it’s time for the VR GO 3.0.

The principle remains the same, it is always a real PC suitable for virtual reality to carry on the back, in a specific case. The configuration is always based on an Intel processor and an NVIDIA graphics card. In this case, a Core i7-9750H (six cores/ twelve threads, base frequency 2.6 Ghz and Boost 4.5 Ghz), a Geforce RTX 2070 and 16 GB graphics card from DDR4-2666. For the storage part, it is a 240 GB Nvme SSD.

Two 6000 mAh batteries




Zotac says this VR GO 3.0 has a design that makes it more comfortable to wear and offers better thermal insulation and better ventilation for the user. Its weight is 5.2 kg. The company delivers it with two 6000 mAh batteries. It is possible to replace the battery without the PC stopping working. Zotac has not indicated the price.
