NuTyX GNU Linux 11.5: Customizable Distribution Relies on Modularity

The Nutyx GNU/Linux 11.5 distribution is based on Linux From Scratch (LFS) and Beyond Linux From Scratch (BLFS) and follows its flexible modular system. The highly customizable operating system relies fully on modularity and wants to provide users with a Linux tailored to their personal needs.

Modular system with new packages


Thanks to its own package manager "Cards", numerous common binary packages such as the desktop environments KDE Plasma 5.18 LTS, Xfce 4.14.2 or the MATE Desktop Environment 1.24.0 can be installed quickly and easily. On the side of the software with the office suite Libreoffice 6.4.3.2, the browser Mozilla Firefox 76.0.1 and Gimp 2.10.18 - typical for a rolling release - the latest packages are to be selected.
