In order to honor the martyrs of the country, preparations have been started from all over the country on Martyr's Day to be celebrated on 23 March. Under this, a meeting of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Naujawan Sabha was held in Ajmer, Rajasthan on Sunday.
Suresh Sharma, spokesperson of the gathering told that poets like Dr. Arjun Sisodia resident Bulandshahar, Hashim Ferozabadi resident Uttar Pradesh, Charanjeet Charan resident Delhi will come to the Shaurya Kavi Sammelan. The Kavi Sammelan will be held at the V Bhadu Lalgarhia Palace located on Pushkar Road. Along with this, a blood donation camp will be organized under the aegis of All India Kshatriya Kumawat Manch Jaipur on March 23 at the Baba Ramdev Temple of Prajapat Samaj in Baltora, Rajasthan on the occasion of Martyrdom Day. Similarly, 'Jara Yaad Karo Kurbani' program will be organized on the occasion of Martyr's Day under the aegis of Bhilwara's Rashtriya Qaumi Ekta Sangh, Shanti Jain Mahila Mandal, Vaishya Federation and Sustainable Service Institute.

Martyr's Day is celebrated every year on January 30, the same day when Mahatma Gandhi was attacked in the year 1948 before sunset during evening prayers. He was a great freedom fighter of India and was considered as a great patriot among millions of martyrs.
He struggled hard for his freedom,
development and public welfare throughout his life. Mahatma Gandhi was shot and killed by Nathuram Godse on 30 January, due to which the day has been declared as Martyr's Day by the Indian government. Since then, Martyr's Day is celebrated every year on 30 January to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
January 30, 1948 is the most sad day for the country, which had become the most toxic day for Indian history. Gandhi Smriti is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was killed at the age of 78 in Birla House during evening prayers.
