What is IP address and Type of IP addresses

Hello, you must have heard the name of the IP address, I am talking about the same IP address without which you cannot connect your computer or mobile to the Internet. Have you considered what the IP address is and what is its function. The full name of the IP address is Internet Protocol Adress, with the help of which you use the Internet. Just as your home has a unique address, every device has its own separate IP address.
When you connect your computer or mobile to the internet, your device gets a unique identification code for data communication which is called IP address.

This type of IP address is set up inside a network, such as if you are using the Internet in your computer with the help of a router in your home, then your computer is able to communicate with your router through an IP address. That is, this IP address is called private IP address.

Public IP address:

This type of IP address is given to your router by ISP (Internet Service Provider) and with this type of address we can use any network worldwide.

Static IP address:

This type of address is fixed meaning that whenever you connect your computer to the Internet, your IP address will always be the same. Dynamic IP Address
The job of giving this type of address belongs to DHCP server and it will always give you one, in this when you connect internet to your computer, you will always get different IP address.

IP address version !

It has two versions !

1. Ipv42. Ipv6

1. Ipv4:-

The full name of IPv4 is Internet Protocol Version 4 which is an address of 32 bit and is a binary number displayed in decimal format. This is an old version of IP

2. Ipv6:-

The full name of IPv6 is Internet Protocol Version 4 which is a 128 bit address that is in binary format as well as hexadecimal format. This is an upgraded version of IPv4.
