Ford debuted the Fiesta Ecoboost Hybrid. It is the first version equipped with an electric motor of its small city car. The main novelty of this model concerns the engine, a 3-cylinder petrol engine of 1 liter of displacement able to deliver 125 hp (92 kW). This unit is combined with a hybrid Mild Hybrid 48 V system consisting of a belt driven generator of 11.5 kW peak and 20 Nm of torque. In this regard, the manufacturer declares 5.0 l/100 Km and 112 g/Km of CO2 according to the WLTP cycle (here our guide). According to Ford, the improvement in consumption compared to the non-electrified version is between 5% and 10%. This unit is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission.
