WWDC 2020: Apple gives us an appointment on June 22 for a free and only online conference

The developer conference, one of the biggest events of the year, will take place online on 22 June. Apple has also indicated that it will be available for free to all developers through its dedicated app and website. The event usually features new software for iPhones, iPads and Mac computers.

Apple is not the first company to opt for this solution. Other companies like Facebook and Google have also cancelled their spring events. Large organizations have also scuttled their plans, we remember the cancellation of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona even before the start of containment measures.

Although WWDC is primarily software-centric, Apple sometimes introduces new products. Last year, the American firm unveiled its Mac Pro with the Pro Display XDR screen for professional artists, publishers and coders. Apple usually sponsors more than 300 students from around the world who come on the basis of a coding contest.
