Animal Crossing: New Horizons returned to No.1 in the UK after sales rose 140% weekly.

This increase followed the influx of physical stocks last week. The previous number 1, FIFA 20, is superimposed on number 3.

Nintendo Switch’s new big game far surpassed expectations worldwide, and the game has already surpassed Nintendo’s expectations in just six weeks.

Outside of Animal Crossing, it is a fairly quiet week for new boxing games, without new titles in the top 40. The second best-selling game of the week was the unbeatable Grand Theft Auto V, which sold 47% per week.

Elsewhere, Final Fantasy VII: Remake finishes in the top 10, dropping to number 13 this week. Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed increased sales of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, with the open world of Ubisoft the game climbed 13 places to No.17. The next game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, was unveiled a week ago.

Last week, nearly 225,000 boxing games were sold in the UK, continuing the steady operation of the boxing market with the nationwide closure of High Street stores.
