At Aldi Nord, a cordless lawnmower from Ferrex is currently available for 99.99 euros. A brushless high-performance motor sits under the robust plastic housing. The device can be guided with two hands and the handle can be adjusted in height from 93 to 116 centimeters. A crop protection bar ensures that the Aldi grass trimmer only cuts grass.

Assessment: The price of 29.99 euros for the Aldi cordless grass trimmer sounds too good to be true.Where is the catch? The model comes with no battery and charger. The required 20 volt battery is available for 19.99 euros and the charging station for 14.99 euros at the discounter. Thus, the cordless grass trimmer at Aldi costs at least 64.97 euros.
