At the end of May, Addlink will begin sales of the S20M series of hard drives (SSD) designed for mass market use in personal computers.

The products are based on 96-layer 3D NAND flash memory chips. Remember that TLC technology involves storing three bits of information in one cell. The Maxiotek MAS080X controller is activated.

The drives received a 2.5-inch form factor, and the SATA 3.0 interface was used to connect the drives. Devices can be used in desktop computers, laptops and ultra-computers.

The S20M series consists of three models with a capacity of 256 and 512 Gbit, and 1 Tbit. The speed of sequential reading of the information is 510, 550 and 560 MB/s, respectively, and the speed of sequential writing is 400, 500 MB/s.

There is no indication of the estimated price of the Addlink S20M family at this time. But it says the devices will be covered by a three-year warranty.
