The orange phone OnePlus showed in Las Vegas was a concept. The OnePlus Concept One showcased an electrochromic glass that practically hides cameras when not needed, but provides a "half-phase" visibility, which, in fact, provides an ad hoc ND filter. There is still some debate over the utility of such a feature but, since it is just a concept, OnePlus is not in a hurry to mass produce it.

The screen technology announced by the company is almost the complete opposite for a small scope of media. It is less important, unexciting, and possibly ready for your next smartphone.
