Fly Announces Development of New AAA Action Adventure

The Polish studio behind Outriders, Painkiller and Bulletstorm is targeting new consoles, streaming platforms and PCs for its new AAA intellectual property.

Led by David Grijns (Atari, Avalanche Studios, Defiant Studios), Head of Studio, and Roland Lesterlin (Blue Eye Pictures, Mindspark Interactive Network), Creative Director, People Can Fly New York will work hand in hand with Warsaw subsidiaries, Rzeszow and Newcastle to create a very ambitious and revolutionary AAA action-adventure game on PS5, Xbox Series X, Google Stadia and PC. People Can Fly’s New York studio plans to hire dozens of new talent over the next year and expand its facilities over the next 12 to 18 months. In addition, a startup studio in Montreal will soon open its doors. The independent Polish studio People Can Fly is currently recruiting for various positions.

People Can Fly’s ambitions for its new AAA

Sebastian Wojciechowski, CEO of People Can Fly: “Last year we announced the opening of our studio in New York and revealed Outriders. Today we have exceeded 250 employees and are pleased to announce the next chapter of our company. From the beginning, our intention was to expand People Can Fly into a multi-project studio and continue to build a global presence for our brand. With the launch of the next-generation consoles later this year, we are incredibly excited about the future of People Can Fly and the gaming industry as a whole.”

“It is rare to have the chance to work on an original AAA game in today’s world, not to mention the opportunity to participate in the development process,” said Roland Lesterlin, Creative Director of People Can Fly New York. “We are looking for bright and curious people to help us shape the vision of this incredible new world we are building. “
