AMD’s alternative to the X570 chipset
Last week’s most-viewed article by readers revolves around AMD’s new B550 chipset for their own Ryzen processors. After almost a year, the new B550 chipset is the first and cheaper alternative for Pcie 4.0 to the X570 chipset. Even if the first motherboards with B550 are not yet among the most favorable representatives, the chipset will make the entry for a mainstream PC with AMD Ryzen cheaper. In most cases, the performance is in no way inferior to the X570.
Intel Gaming PC in 5-litre case
In second place is the test for the Intel NUC9 Extreme Ghost Canyon, a small gaming PC in a 5 liter case with Intel Core i9-9980HK and Geforce RTX 2070. The test model brings it with this equipment to a price of about 2,800 euros, even the entry is without GPU and memory with 1,600 euros high. However, the performance remains behind that of a full-grown PC with the same graphics card and the upgrade possibilities are severely limited.
