Acer CP5271UV: WQHD monitor with DisplayHDR 600 and IPS
In the Conceptd series for the creative industry, Acer is launching a new monitor. The CP5271UV delivers the WQHD resolution with up to 170 Hz on 27 inches diagonal. The factory calibrated IPS display is designed to cover 99 percent of Adobe RGB and is certified to Displayhdr 600.
As with the Predator XB323U, the Chinese online retailer provides clues to the upcoming Acer monitor. A product page about the Conceptd CP5 reveals more details.
Factory calibration hits 170 Hz
For an accurate color representation, the CP5271UV is calibrated ex works to a color distance of Delta E 2, Acer even speaks of Delta E 1 elsewhere.In addition, there is a validation for the Pantone color system and a 3D LUT. The LED backlight coated with Quantum Dots provides an extended colour space.
The 170 Hz refresh rate and a reaction time of 0.7 ms" are intended to ensure the liquid representation of moving images. The VESA standards Adaptive-Sync (for Freesync/G-Sync) and Displayhdr 600 are supported.
USB Type-C and wood optics
The connectors are USB Type C with up to 65 Watt power delivery and Displayport via Alternate Mode. In addition, Displayport 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and four times USB 3.0 should be represented, writes PC Monitors. On the advertising material for China are also called stereo speakers with 2 4 Watt nominal power.
The stand in wood look should offer a height adjustment by up to 180 mm as well as the possibility of pivoting and tilting the display.
