I live in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Here Sawai Mansingh Stadium is the home ground for Rajasthan Royals. In Jaipur, international matches have been banned for the last few years as some dispute is going on between the BCCI and RCA (Rajasthan Cricket Association).

So the craze for ipl matches here is incredible. The prices are quite cheap though. I went to almost every match over the years. There are some categories or sections. The cheapest one is 500 rupees. That means East Stand.

I remember in 2013 it was 150-200 rupees. Last year, ticket prices ranged from 10K to 10K. 500, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000, 3500, 5000, 8000 and 10,000. These were the categories and I think for a match in which Kohli, Rohit, Dhoni or any other legend is playing, it is totally worth it.

You can enjoy the match and get a proper view from the 500 rupee stand as well. IPL tickets are expensive because it is a private match and the number of sixes in the match is also expected to be high.
